Fiber Artistry - Journey of the Imagination is an exhibition presented by The Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild at the Jacqueline Casey Hudgen Center for the Arts in Duluth, GA.I was unable to attend the opening reception, which was on September 17...but was just notified one of my entries - "Catching the Moon Phase 6" - has won the HGA (Handweavers Guild of America) Award! Lynn Lowance very kindly emailed me these photos, which show both of my works on the title wall of the exhibition.
Of course i am thrilled, and thank the Chatahoochee weavers for this opportunity to exhibit, and also Lynn Lowance for her kind notification.
This exhibit continues through October 24, 2009, i hope some of you will be able to attend.Close ups of both the works on exhibit (along with the rest of the "moon" series) in this show are posted on my website at PamelaZimmerman.net
