Positivity

I love the Positivity Blog, by by Henrik Edberg. Maybe you have seen a link to it in the right column of this blog.

This post, with quotes from Abraham Lincoln, particularly spoke to me when i read it today.

Take #7:
Sharpen your ax,

which includes:

Do. Fail. Learn. Do.

There is more, of course. I admit, it is pretty obscure without the rest...
You should read it.
I bet you'll enjoy it, too.

Juror's Choice at Figuratively Fiber

It is a thrill to have been chosen for the "Juror's Choice" award at the exhibition "Figuratively Fiber" at the Joan Mondale Gallery, Textile Center, Minneapolis, MN.

Jurors Jodi and Richard Creager, of Creager Studio, selected the winning pieces from this exhibition, which focuses on art dolls. In addition to the great pleasure of being chosen to show in this prestigious forum, I am truly honored by the Jurors' comments on my piece, "Naturally Endowed:"

"We felt that this piece showed a great control of a wide variety of media. It's uniqueness of style and playful use of the human form spoke to us."

Thank you so much for your lovely complements! It is such a wonderful feeling to have my work appreciated by such incredible artists!
